Bob has considerable experience of maximising the value of fast growing, data driven technology companies. Bob first worked with Mobeus as Managing Director of leading information provider, Landmark Information Group which was sold to Daily Mail and General Trust in 2003. Bob then led the buyout and became Chairman of Propertyflow, a leading online conveyancing search provider which in turn was sold to MDA Corporation. He has chaired two Mobeus Investee companies: ATG Media and Faversham House.

Having successfully founded his own business which he sold to Macquarie Bank, Ashley has acted as a strategic consultant focusing on succession and exit strategy to a mix of clients and has built considerable experience in the Food and Drink sector. Ashley was an investor in and Chairman of former Mobeus portfolio company Pasta King.
Specialisation: People and Marketing
With a strong corporate background, Iain excels in maximising the potential of people-based businesses. Following a career in ICI and Rank Xerox, Iain led the Mobeus-backed MBO of Maven Management, a market research business, which was sold to trade in 2007. Following this successful exit, Iain chaired Mobeus investment Tottel Publishing which was sold to Bloomsbury Group in 2009. He currently chairs another Mobeus investee, RDL Corporation.
Specialisation: Construction & Waste Management
Tim has considerable experience of the construction, building materials and waste management sectors. Previously a Main Board Director of George Wimpey, he has held a number of board positions with public and private companies including May Gurney Integrated Services, Hargreaves Services, and Superglass. Tim has worked with the Mobeus team since 1998 and has invested in and chaired a number of its investee companies, including Connaught, Apollo Lifts, Plastic Surgeon Holdings and Monsal Holdings.

Dick has a strong retail and consumer products background. He currently chairs two Mobeus investments: CB Imports and Racoon. Dick is also Chairman of Portmeirion Group, an AIM listed ceramics business. He is a former Finance Director of Storehouse Group and Lloyds Chemists. He has been involved with numerous entrepreneurial businesses including Hobbycraft and former Mobeus investee company, Original Additions.
Specialisation: Manufacturing, Support Services, Far East trading
Following a career in textiles in the 80s and 90s, including 4 years in Hong Kong, Peter started his own clothing business with the support of private equity. This business was successfully sold in 1994 and since that time Peter has supported a wide range and variety of private equity backed businesses in both a Chairman and Non-Executive Director capacity.
Specialisation: Outsourcing, buy & build
Peter has been a successful private equity professional since 1987 starting his career at LDC and Gresham. He built Sovereign Capital into a leading private equity house before returning to LDC in a senior role. His investment track record is a portfolio IRR over 45% (3.75x money). Peter has completed two very successful MBIs as principal: Motorcare (insurance outsourcing) and Picsolve (photography services). Peter chairs Mobeus investment EMaC Holdings.
Specialisation: Engineering Technology/Oil & Gas
Steve has a proven track record of establishing and supporting leadership teams enabling them to develop all aspects of their business strategy. His background is in engineering technology, both hardware and software, particularly in the oil and gas industries. Key roles have included: MD of AEA Technology Engineering Software, COO of PII Group Ltd, and Executive Chairman of private equity-backed Viking Moorings Ltd. Steve has worked with Mobeus since 2006 as Chairman of Lightworks, Machineworks, and Tessella Holdings.
Specialisation: Automotive Sector
Kevin is a serial entrepreneur in the automotive sector. He has led contract hire and leasing businesses, as well as a number of successful automotive data companies including Motor Consult and Management and Cap Network. He also co-founded and ran National Service Network, the largest centrally-controlled network of independent garages in the UK. He is currently Executive Chairman of Autologic Diagnostics where he led the MBI and subsequent secondary buyout, Chairman of Mobeus portfolio company Motorclean, CGI Creative Graphics International and is on the board of the IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry).
Specialisation: Complex Financial Situations
Jim is a highly experienced finance professional. A chartered accountant by background, he was instrumental in the MBO and successful exit of Leyland Bus. He then became FD of Badgerline (another bus operator which became FirstBus plc), managing the flotation and two significant acquisitions. Jim subsequently led the MBO of Dillistone and its flotation. He has worked with Mobeus since 1998, running the finance function of both Connaught Group and Ministry of Cake.

A former FD of Sears PLC, MD of Storehouse plc and CEO of Co-Operative Retail Services, Andy has a strong background in retail. More recently he has helped a number of private equity groups maximise the potential of their portfolio companies, including American Golf, St Tropez Group, and Warehouse Express. He has worked with Mobeus since 2008 initially as Chairman of Original Additions.
Specialisation: Facilities Management + Support Services
David has over 35 years experience of facilities management and building and support services, and has been highly successful at building shareholder value. His background includes senior positions in Associated Holdings plc, Reliance Integrated Services and Covion, which he founded and led, selling the business to Balfour Beatty, very profitably, just 7 years after start-up. David of Futsal Ltd and he has worked with Mobeus since 2009 as chairman of Westway Service.
